YOTEL
Hubert Viriot is the CEO of YOTEL. He joined YOTEL in May 2014 to roll out an aggressive growth strategy targeting key city centers and international airports in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. In his nine years with the company, Hubert has increased YOTEL’s portfolio from four properties to 32 opened and signed hotels representing over 7,000 keys globally. In 2017 Hubert brokered a $250M strategic partnership with Starwood Capital Group to fuel expansion and international growth. YOTEL subsequently created YOTELAIR, a brand to represent the airport hotels portfolio, and a new brand, YOTELPAD, to drive extended-stay development. Hubert is currently leading the company towards its goal to have 50 YOTELs opened and signed by 2025.
Prior to his appointment as the CEO of YOTEL, Hubert was CEO of Raimon Land PLC, a leading real estate developer listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). During his four-year tenure in Thailand, Hubert orchestrated the successful turnaround of Raimon Land and increased the company’s development portfolio from USD200M to USD1.1Bn. Previously, Hubert spent four years as Vice President of Investments & Acquisitions with IFA Hotels & Resorts, YOTEL’s parent company, and five years with HVS, a global consulting firm focused on the hospitality, tourism and real estate industries.

Hubert has a BSc degree in International Management from the University of Wales and a BSc degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Glion Hotel School in Switzerland.
