He has achieved success within a short span of time by personalizing solutions in a deeply fragmented market through large investments into manufacturing, digitalization, brand, service, and people. He also serves as a Board Member of Saint-Gobain India.
Hemant is also an investor and a key member of the Strategic Advisory Committee at Livspace, a Singapore based digital-first platform and a market leader in India and SEA offering end-to-end solutions for home interiors. In his role as an investor, he oversees the development of a strong partnership between Saint-Gobain and Livspace.
With over 20 years at Saint-Gobain and before that with Akzo Nobel, Hemant has gained a solid reputation in creating new businesses and categories in the building materials industry. Hemant has cut his teeth in business strategy while working on key projects with McKinsey and collaborating with leading players in the industry.
