Campbell Wilson is the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Air India, a role he assumed in
mid-2022 after a long and distinguished career with Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group. He carries extensive
experience from various senior positions he held across the group, including both, the flagship full-
service airline as well as Scoot, SIA’s wholly owned low-cost subsidiary.
As the leader of Air India, Campbell is spearheading Vihaan.AI, an ambitious five-year program to transform the formerly state-owned carrier, now under the ownership of Tata Group, into a world-class airline with an Indian heart.

Campbell is also overseeing the integration of Air India Express and Air Asia India, two subsidiary airlines,
into a consolidated low-cost carrier, and the merger of Air India with Vistara, a full-service airline jointly
owned by Tata and SIA.
Campbell Wilson started his career with SIA in New Zealand in 1996. He subsequently worked in various markets within the group, such as Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, and Japan, before becoming the founding CEO of Scoot, SIA’s low-cost subsidiary, in 2011. He served as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, on SIA’s Management Committee from 2016 to 2020, before returning to Scoot as the CEO for a second term in 2020.
