Anant Apurv Kumar is the co-founder of Brij Hotels, a boutique hotel brand focused on curating immersive, culturally rich experiences across India. Along with his brother Udit Kumar, Anant launched Brij Hotels with the vision to redefine luxury through intimate, locally inspired stays that emphasize authenticity, sustainability, and personalization.
An alumnus of The Doon School and a graduate in Economics from University College London (UCL), Anant brings a global perspective and a refined understanding of market dynamics to India's hospitality sector. He is also part of the promoter group of the Clarks Group of Hotels, an eight-decade-old institution founded by his great-grandfather, Babu Brijpal Das Ji—a foundation that continues to guide his work.
In addition to Brij Hotels, Anant and Udit co-founded Blu Dove, a premium catering company specializing in bespoke culinary experiences for events, institutions, and private clients. They also played key roles in founding 1589 Hotels.

Anant is also the host of The Innside Scoop (YouTube), a hospitality-focused podcast where he engages in candid conversations with hoteliers, restaurateurs, designers, and hospitality innovators—offering deep insights into the evolving landscape of the industry.

His work blends business insight with a strong respect for heritage, community, and meaningful guest experiences. Through Brij Hotels and other ventures, Anant aims to reshape the narrative of Indian hospitality—one soulful stay at a time.
