Vijay Thacker has a professional experience of over 45 years, including 39 years of advisory work in the Hotels, Tourism, and Leisure sector. Vijay has undertaken varied professional engagements for listed and privately owned businesses in India and overseas, for banks, financial institutions, private equity firms, and government companies – covering multiple sectors and service needs.

For the HTL sector, he provides development advisory, strategy advisory, valuations, risk consulting, internal audits, and litigation support across multiple product types and positioning. In December 2018, Vijay was recognized with the Hotelier India Hall of Fame Award.

Vijay leads Crowe India group with 38 partners / directors and over 1,800 employees. He is a Board member of Crowe Global, select companies in India, and a regular speaker and writer on professional subjects.
