An alumnus of Hindu College, New Delhi, Rajesh Mehra has been associated with the Jaquar Group as Director & Promoter since 1978. He has played a pivotal role in transforming customer perceptions of the bathroom, from a purely functional space to an aspirational part of the home in the 1990s and subsequently led the brand’s evolution from a faucet-focused business to a provider of complete bathroom and lighting solutions. His leadership has been closely aligned with product innovation, global quality standards, and a strong belief in India’s manufacturing capabilities, with Jaquar today operating state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India and South Korea and serving markets across more than 55 countries.
Widely known for his customer-centric approach, Rajesh has emphasized experience-led design, strong service systems, and consistent quality across the value chain. His vision has also guided the company’s focus on responsible and sustainable operations, including the development of eco- conscious manufacturing practices and the establishment of Jaquar’s LEED Platinum-certified, net- positive global headquarters in Manesar. Beyond business, he supports social development initiatives through the Jaquar Foundation, working in areas such as education, healthcare, and skill development. His long-standing contribution to industry and entrepreneurship was recently recognized with the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Under his leadership, today Jaquar Group has 7 state-of-the-art manufacturing units in India & 1 in South Korea, spread over 3,30,000 sq.mt., equipped with modern machines and processes. Jaquar’s Faucets Plant is one of the largest manufacturing facilities in the world producing over 1,25,000 bath fittings on a daily basis is the living example and his unrelenting passion for making India self-reliant and a proud nation.

SUCCESS ACHIEVED RESPONSIBLY
“Legacy is not what we do for ourselves, but for coming generations”. Much ahead of the time, as a true leader, believing in eco-friendly and responsible operations, Rajesh has spearheaded the company’s shift to an eco-conscious operation. A champion of Jaquar’s ‘Go Green’ mission, he was instrumental in setting up Jaquar’s Global Headquarters at Manesar (NCR), spread over 48,000 sq. mt., as India’s first and one of Asia’s largest net positive buildings, LEED Platinum certified by the US Green Building Council. Even the group’s manufacturing operations is a zero-waste, green setup that recycles every drop of water and other by-products. Jaquar Group generates over 7.5 MW of solar energy.

A MISSION TO SERVE
Operating under Rajesh Mehra’s guidance, Jaquar Foundation, the Group’s arm that actively contributes to social and economic welfare, is also doing a stellar job as it works together with others to help raise the quality of life for people, especially those having inadequate access to education, healthcare and skill development.
