Karan Singh is the Chaiman of Bain & Company's India offices. He was one of the founding
partners who helped establish Bain's India business in 2006 and has 25+ years of management
consulting experience across Asia, Europe and the United States. He was managing partner for
Bain’s India business between 2015-2023. He is also supporting Bain’s global board of directors.
Karan was most recently the leader of Bain's Healthcare practice in Asia Pacific, leading projects across healthcare delivery, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. His expertise includes transformation, turnaround and growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, performance management and change management. He also has experience in supporting multiple digital insurgents and clients in the consumer products, financial services, industrial goods and services, and private equity sectors. He also led Bain’s Sustainability practice in APAC for several years.

He has advised and been a knowledge partner to NATHEALTH – Healthcare Federation of India
and supports the Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation, ALVL Foundation and St Jude. He also
serves on the board for Bridgespan, Health Quad and Atlas SkillTech University. He is also an
advisor to Claypond Capital (Ranjan Pai’s family office). He has also been a member of
committees of leading business chambers such as CII, the World Economic Forum and NITI
Ayog.
