Federico J. González is the Executive Vice Chairman of Radisson Hotel Group (RHG). The Group has over 1,250 hotels in operation and development in over 90 countries. The Radisson family of brands counts 10 brands: Radisson Collection, art’otel, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Radisson Individuals, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, and prizeotel brought together under one commercial umbrella brand Radisson Hotels and the loyalty program Radisson Rewards. The Group’s overarching brand promise is Every Moment Matters delivered with its signature Yes I Can! service.
Federico is also the CEO of Louvre Hotels Group, a major player in the hotel industry whose portfolio includes over 1,600 hotels in 60 countries. It offers a range of hotels from 1 to 5 stars, with historical brands: Première Classe, Kyriad, Kyriad Direct, Campanile, Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip, Royal Tulip. It also includes the five brands of the Sarovar Hotel Group in India, as well as the deluxe collection “Hôtels et Préférence”.

Federico has extensive global executive leadership experience in the hospitality, leisure, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. Prior to his current roles, he was Chief Executive Officer of NH Hotel Group, where he led a major turnaround of the company. Federico was previously Deputy General Manager of Disneyland Paris, and worked 16 years in senior management positions at Procter & Gamble in Brussels, Madrid, and Stockholm before becoming the company’s country Head of Portugal in 2000. A respected marketer and change driver, Federico has written three books, Living and Working Abroad, How to Live and Work with the Portuguese, and How to succeed in doing business the Swedish way.

As a global leader, Federico’s personal mission is to motivate and energize large organizations to be more ambitious in profitability, purpose, people and sustainability, through respect for diversity of thought, culture, gender, experience, and beliefs. Federico majored in Economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and received a Master’s degree in International Trade and Finance from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. In January 2021, Federico became an independent member of the Board of Sodexo and since July 2023 he is also a board member of Mundi Ventures.

In 2023 Federico received the “Career Recognition” from the City Council of Madrid, Spain, rewarding his successful professional career in which he has managed to position Radisson Hotel Group as one of the most competitive brands in hospitality.
